Many stores were closed and people just kind of chilled out. They might go for a drive, hence "sunday drivers", because there was so little traffic. <br>I like the idea of a day of rest in this increasingly busy, frantic world. Now that I no longer need Sunday morning to "come down" I run and am grateful for Sunday the 1st or 7th day of the week. Growing up, Sunday was considered a day of rest.
